How to insert symbols

Go to Insert- Symbol

Click on Symbol of choice and click Insert and then OK

In this example insert Basic Greek symbols. Click on the Subset menu and select Basic Greek. All the basic Greek symbols will appear. Click on symbol and then press Insert and then OK

Common symbols you may want to insert are
