PowerPoint and Keynote can be great You just have to be a 'bit' creative! Given the choice of presenting digitally, PowerPoint (or Keynote for Macs) is the most widely used presentation tool in classrooms. Consequently, it is also a tool that is used in limited ways such as a linear regurgitation of facts slideshow with animations and sound effects. But slideshows can be made exciting, informative and interesting just by how the information is presented and delivered. They can be used as a teaching and learning tool and this course will provide you with the skills to create dynamic, interactive learning opportunities for your students. A basic knowledge of how to create PowerPoint or a Keynote presentation is a pre-requisite of this course. |
