The children in Room 9 at Pakuranga Heights School had to do a project on the country of their choice. Using Gwen Gawith's 6 stages of Action Learning Framework they decided on a specific focus and presented the information in slideshow format. This page was available for their use during the day at school and at home on their home computers. Room 9 children were able to email me at teacher@jsharp.co.nz with any queries or problems. I talked them through their project and suggested helpful websites. Any websites I found that were applicable were added to this page so that all of the class could access it if they wished.
These children had access to other forms of resources available in the class such as
books from school and local libraries
books from home | |
books that are already available in the class
many different encyclopaedia CD roms |
