On the game Pharaoh we have run out of money. How do we get our money back?

Once you have run out of money that is it unless Pharaoh decides to give you more. If he doesn’t then you will have to start the game over. You need to make sure that you are putting in things that are going to make money like gold and gem mines. You can give money to the city by clicking on your Overseers button and then click on your Political Overseers button . You will get a screen that looks something like this

You can see that this player has Savings of 15900 Debens. Click on Give to City and you can choose to give all or some of the money to the City so that you have a little bit more money to play with. Warning! Use it wisely!!!

The group pharaohs have done two cheats side show & hippo stomp the cheats have made hippos in two-twos to stomp on and kill all the people. Luke and I tried a few things to get rid of them but we had to replay mission, we wanted to know how to get rid of them if we were at a crucial point in the game so we don't have to start again

p.s. We've won all our wars. Katyanne is sick.

I see you have discovered the ‘Cheats’. They are great fun to do at home on your own computer! Remember at school we are working in teams and we have to go through all the same missions as the other groups! Once you have started a cheat you need to do the key combination again and then press the button that says Disable Cheats, otherwise you need to start again. Look at this site it tells you where you should be heading in the game. P.S. I am sorry Katyanne is sick, I hope she gets better soon!

My Mum brought me the Pharos Game and we are having trouble trying to make it work. My elder sister thinks we may have a virus on our computer so the game wont work or start up.
Can you help me.

What type of computer do you have? Is it very old or quite new? Is it Windows 95, 98, ME or 2000? Have you tried reinstalling the game? It does give you 3 options for installation, which one are you doing? Maybe try a maximum or maybe a minimum. How far does the game load up? Do you have a virus detector? If not you should buy Nortons. It will cost around a $100. Once you have Nortons it will automatically update each time you are on the Internet. Clicking on this site http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_pcc.asp  may also help you to find out whether you have a virus. Follow the instructions and it will look at your hardrive.

On the challenge for task four I was successful. In the end it showed the Gods with their symbols.

I have Downloaded Shockwave and followed the instructions but the graphics are not showing it is just Grey with a line
What should I do?

The graphics I thought were very good and i was susssecful I am now going task 4 bye

Glad you were able to work it out; once Shockwave is loaded it does still take a few minutes for the animations to start. I am glad you liked the graphics. It certainly is a different way to view a presentation on the Internet.
