Make a banner for your Pharaoh Simulation Centre using Microsoft Publisher or any other WordProcessing programme.

set up a display

Have a series of Help cards. These can be on the wall or placed in a box.

Place the scenario question in centre view. Refer to it frequently.

Have plenty of other reference material available such as:

books

atlases

encyclopaedias (digital and non digital)

world map

bookmarked sites about Egypt

pens, note paper

references sheets

for each computer there needs to be a whiteboard for booking in extra time

there needs to be a class timetable for group rotations

•Physical classroom setup

	–Placement of computers and accompanying technologies need to be considered
	–Computers should be placed on large tables that are able to accommodate other reference information and writing materials
	–Chairs and tables need to be at the right heights for the children in the class and at least four chairs need to be available for each computer
	–A whiteboard needs to be available for group booking times
	–One particular area needs to relegated as the PSU Learning Centre
